They’ve just put a hold on internal transfers from Carelon until the end of February.

Carelon is not only offshore! Educate yourself about the company you work for!

etc. etc.
Only Carelon Global Solutions is offshore.
Its downsizing and they dont want excess folks friends in other areas to be able to save someone. They will block transfers, eliminate open positions and Rif as necessary to meet budget targets. These are normal activities when you do not retain business and sell enough to offset losses.
If you live over 50 miles from an office you can’t transfer either. You are stuck in your position forever unless they move you or change their policy.
Carelon is not all offshore. Also - working for Carelon I have not seen notifications of this freeze / restriction

Carelon is not only offshore nor is Carelon Global Solutions (formerly Legato who was all offshore).
Elevance is the big umbrella. Elevance and many other company “names” are under Elevance.
I thought Carelon was only offshore. Is Carelon onshore also? Those working under Carelon, are they still considered Elevance employees?

Carelon employees can’t transfer out to another position. Anyone hoping to find another internal position is stuck.
