Thread regarding HCSC (Health Care Service Corporation) layoffs

Embarrased by post of fellow unhappy employees.

Some of the posts here are quite hard to read. It seems like frustration takes over, and the message gets lost in the mix. A little proofreading before hitting submit could really help clarify your thoughts.

If you want people to engage with your message, consider this approach: Stop, think, write, proofread, and then submit. It makes a big difference!

“TheLayoff.com is a simple discussion board for all of us who would like to learn more about the rumors or possibility of job cuts in our company.” I wish it would return to that. I have noticed that HCSC tends to use it as a place to rant, create division and talk about some really petty stuff. It’s too bad as I think the original design was meant to help people share information about job layoffs and how to protect oneself.

Posting rants here that are unclear and thinking you’re rallying support is misguided. Do you really believe HCSC leadership is going to read your posts and think, “They make a good point”? They won’t.

Then there are those who jump in to trash anyone who criticizes the poorly thought-out posts.

This site should be a space for people to unite over issues with leadership, but many of you are creating divisions among those who are unhappy. Who benefits from that? Leadership, because instead of coming together, you’re busy name-calling instead of addressing the real problems.

Rather than a person focusing on wording here, maybe teach a course to full time employees and our contractors on "writing". Stop, think, write, proofread, and then submit. A stellar high five awaits you!

You used 'post' singular in your subject line. That embarrasses me.
