Has anyone been part of meetings where you are cutting more than te percent of your unit?

Why cannot management use AI and remove all the unwanted losers and su-kers in the organization. Is management afraid that AI will pick their name. Useless vagabonds.
Many departments are indeed "heavy" ... with useless and expensive AVPs, but upper management will of course cut the lower grades / salaries actually doing the work and carrying their departments to success and Leaders' boondoggle trips. Upper management are all weak A$$es who can't make the right decisions that are smacking them right in the face.

We were told that firing people demonstrates leadership. A people leader has fired 2/3 of her team. What a leader!
CEO wants to get rid of old employees. He feels they are of no use. Useless and waste. For one oldie salary he can hire two young blood to work for him. If he offshores he can get 4 people for the price of one. Why waste money in American white collar jobs. Basically it being said sc--w you all.
Haven't heard either. In fact, earnings seem good and I doubt there are any large scale terminations in the offing.

No, our DEI hires are here to stay, regardless if they are not smart, but very absent minded and clumsy! They enrich us in ways we cannot yet see. I have been part of recent meetings for "automated solutions", which could very well be a cover for RIFs.
