Why are airlines starting to dump Viasat in favor of StarLink? It’s not just because LEO is better than GEO. All you have to do is look at the stock price. No airline is gonna want to risk losing Wifi for all their customers if there’s a chance their provider will go out of business.

When Delta announces starlink, how huge of a drop do we get? Down to $8 probably
Apparently Viasat took Letorneau along to Delta to be a voice of sanity amongst the usual aviation arrogance and BS around how We Don’t S-ck
Feel sorry for an airline CEO having to suffer through Gooroo's nonsensical word buffet on why Viasat doesn't actually su-k. Wouldn't be surprised if they haven't already gotten tired of his schtick and just tell Mark to come without the weirdo.
The reviews are generally positive of Viasat wifi on Delta. I don’t think they would switch to Starlink so quickly. Maybe they push Hughesnet out first.
Hope the delta rumor isn’t true, I’m sure starlink has approached all the airlines we service by now. One more big one switching will start the dominoes falling
Today's rumour: a very difficult meeting with Delta last week. As a result, installations on the long range fleet have been suspended. Maybe they just want to leverage our current situation to get some concessions, maybe they already have have different plans. Time will tell.
Some wonder if Delta will question bringing Viasat to their remaining ex-Gogo international fleet.
The program is running years late and no airline has infinite patience. Especially when the market is moving fast.
And what happens to Viasat jobs if that happens?
Elon drinks your milkshake and he is too dang smart to not do it. He only have 5k users per satellite with his operation.
