It's Thursday, Oct 3 and as I write this I have not heard of any layoffs (so far) this week.
Anyone aware of any that occurred this week? Or perhaps this is the calm before the storm.
Good luck to all.

Still Processing. We were notified very recently to be laid off. I myself had 3 decades plus with USB. We have 50 plus more working days left or til end of the year.
I wish someone would post about the timing and why certain dates are chosen for lay offs. Is it based on the pay cycle? To avoid WARN? Waiting so many weeks to know what is going on in our department has become pretty horrible for all of us. Maybe they are just hoping that by making us wonder if we are safe we will panic and find something else and leave so they can avoid paying us severance. If anyone in HR wants to have mercy on us and tell us if they have an answer it would be most appreciated.
Agree - someone is always right when they post on the layoffs and they said 2nd and 3rd week of October -
I haven’t heard anything myself, but I did see someone on LinkedIn announcing that she had been laid off after 33 years with the bank. I’m glad that severance will take care of her for a while, but man… 33 years!!
Calm before the storm. By 10/18 there will have been a ton of news. Next 2 weeks are going to be an extremely bumpy ride.
