My wife who gave most of her life to Aetna was let go in the recent layoff. She’s very intelligent and took her job seriously.it doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done. Very sad.

Seems to be the trend. if you are a Caucasian and above 50 looks like you’re on the block.
If she wants to get rehired she should apply through Infosys, Cognizant, or Wipro. Hopefully she's Indian or they won't even pick up the phone
