If you're still working at USB, then initiate "Quiet Quitting" NOW@! In other words collect the cash for the absolute least amount of effort possible. If there are rumors of layoffs coming to your area you can bet they are. That's all USB is about now, zero ethics and all about just making the number so the board is happy. The best response to this direction is to reduce your enthusiasm, let apathy guide you. Don't go over and above, ever. Refuse extra work, refuse to increase your knowledge base, BUT when it comes to those wonderful employee surveys, let them have it. Make sure they see red across the freakin' board. USB is nothing but an autocrat training ground now. This was made glaringly obvious be the way the employee population has been treated during this whole FUBAR'ed RTO fiasco. You're not a person, you're a number, a commodity, just made to punch numbers and letters into a box.

This place has gone downhill in the last year and the a$$clowns 🤡 in management are spineless. I truly enjoy working with my business partners but I despise my leadership (I work in Talent Acquisition). There is no way I can recommend this company without knowing full well I’m leading a sheep (the applicant) to sla-ghter by working at USB.

Absolutely agree with everything except the surveys. DO NOT take your surveys. They don’t care about the results, only about the number of employees that take them so they count for participation. You’re just a number to them, which they already think is too high, until it comes to counting you towards their employee engagement.
