I wouldn't mind being laid off this time. I'm fed up not only with Cigna but health industry as a whole.

WARN act in part was intended to give people notice of a job loss with a minimum of 60 days notice, and now 90 days in some states. The 30 day lead time is not likely a work around, that would not make sense. Then there are different rules for how much additional severance they pay if the proper notice was not given. I'm still a bit uncertain how they are getting around WARN though.
Here is a link to the Federal rules, and this site has state specific detail too:

I think they get around the warn act by giving employees a 30 day notice of termination. You are notified and remain an employee for 30 days.
It’s not massive enough to trigger warn.
The fact that anyone can post anything on here... you just don't know what's true. If names were already given and this is anonymous, why isn't anyone saying anything? Especially if this one is supposed to be massive.
Seems pretty quiet on here considering the scuttlebutt surrounding layoffs in two days?
11/8 is slated as the last work day for those JE'd. 10/10 will also be a date that several are notified that they will convey to HCSC. I do not know the impacted areas.
“ Yes. Notifications will be given 10/10.”
What will be the official termination date?
When was this decided, based on what, who knows, what bands and departments?
Yes. Notifications will be given 10/10.
