Another comparison question - what are the grades/levels for employees? Like is a Representative a Grade 1, an Analyst a grade 2… what is a senior manager or a director or a managing director?
Thank you doesn’t seem any different than our benefits. But we do have more PTO days and get to roll over more than HCSC
I guess we are dealing with this sale and how it is impacting both sides.
I agree with the person who said benefits are “ok.” I have been with HCSC for years and have only had to battle once for coverage for a MRI that was initially denied by an external MD. Dental is average, and I have never had the vision policy, as it seems very limited so have always opted out.
I would sum them up as "ok". Definetely would wish they were more affordable, considering we work for the company. Better than the options my spouse gets from another large Chicago based company, but HCSC's bottom line is also much better than theirs in recent years.
We pay more for less coverage than many of our customers.
They aren't as good as you'd expect. I know some employees choose to turn down the HCSC company benefits and use their spouses coverage through other carriers instead.
