Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

OHS

Did you complete your OHS? If so, how did you score the company this year?

I honestly completed it the way I wanted it to be and not the way my manager wanted it be.

OHS is just a way to gaslight local leadership into thinking they are the problem and avoid the systemic issues of the organization.

Mostly 1s and 2s, not that anybody cares, or that it will come back in my PDR with a "fix it" coming from top down...

I work within a team that was derived out of the original Quaker in Chicago. A couple of my long tenured teammates tell me the environment was completely anathema to the toxicity witnessed now when Quaker was an independent company. After the behemoth that is PepsiCo swallowed them up, things slowly went downhill. That may be what’s keeping a lot of us at the OPO here but honestly no pension or familiar surroundings are worth the persistent threats of job elimination, lack of decent pay raises and all around malaise of what is left. Quaker is not even a BU any longer, just another brand rolled into Frito Lay which is a recipe for continued turmoil.

OHS questions seem to always be written in a way that don't give you an opportunity to tear them to shreds. I always go into the survey thinking I am going to be all negative, but the questions that are asked don't really address the real problems.

This used to be a business, now it’s just another corporation. OHS is a way for the corporation to say we tried without trying. It’s the Corporate HR equivalent to coffee badging. OHS is about the only #1 this place will be handed for a while.
