Maverick is the codename for a completely new ERP system. It is based on Oracle cloud. Cuts across all functions. Deloitte is hired as project manager.

It is, at least in part, a new CRM. Seems like they're trying to get rid of salesforce which won't make Michael's bosom buddy too happy, I imagine.

The NDA is for the new standard configuration experience that is coming. Has nothing to do with project Maverick but I can see how one might get it confused. It's all being talked about in forums without much explanation.
