Typically competitors recruit from each other. However, since CDW doesn’t have directly comparable competitors, I’m struggling to come up with a list. What companies hire from CDW?

Adobe, Advanced Micro Devices, Apple, ASML Holding , Broadcom. Nvidia , CRM, MSFT, to name a few
Those aren't competitors, those are partners. Not to say that CDW folk don't go off to work at partners, they often do, but if you're looking for companies that do what CDW does, none of those are in that category.
Not sure why OP doesn't think CDW has direct competition; there are plenty and they aren't hard to find.
World Wide Technologies, AHEAD, insight, EPlus, SHI, trace3, etc all compete in the market against CDW. All have Pros and Cons, all are excellent competitors, and all are recruiting from each other.

Exactly. My pre-CDW background is largely in SaaS startups, which were impacted when the venture capital market tanked in the winter of 22, so doubling back the way I came would be difficult. I’ve been watching where people land when they exit but only know a fraction of the coworkers who have left recently.
