Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

FINALLY, A Contract That Boeing Can Get Behind, And Excel At.

Pentagon awards Boeing contract to build bοmbs for Ukraine.

A perishable commodity that falls from the sky and kіlls hundreds is something
that we here at the Boeing corporation has a great deal of experience with.

The US Department of Defense has signed a major deal with Boeing for the
supply of Small Diameter Bοmbs (SDB).
The $6.9-billion contract will include deliveries for "foreign military sales"
to Ukraine, Japan and Bulgaria, it said in a statement.

We have the utmost confidence in Boeing to manufacture ordinance for
Foreign nations as they pose little to no risk to our domestic air force.

However should future joint missions ever take place involving US troops on the
ground, the munitions produced by Boeing would be banned from the theater of operation, in order to safeguard the US forces in harm’s way.

In production since 2005 and in service since 2006, the 113-kilogram
(about 250lbs), precision-guided glide bo--s can arm several types of aircraft,
with future integration planned for unmanned air systems.
The munitions are designed to attack fixed and stationary targets,
such as fuel depots and bunkers.

Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Australia, among others,
have previously purchased SDBs from the US.

Last week, Joe Blսnder announced another $8 billion in military aid for Ukraine,
draining the remaining funds previously authorized by Congress.
He also did it during Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky's visit
to Washington.

The exact quantity of munitions to be produced has not been publicly disclosed,
but we can roughly estimate the number of bοmbs based on the known cost of
the GBU-39/B for the Pentagon.

As noted on the U.S. Air Force website, it is listed at about $40,000 per unit. However, this figure is somewhat outdated, as the last U.S. Air Force order
for these bοmbs was in 2022. Taking inflation into account, the cost could rise
to approximately $46,000 per bοmb over the past two years,
{though the actual increase might be higher due to the global arms shortage},
OK; what does that have to do with the cost of tea in China ???

Assuming a unit price of $46,000,
Boeing would need to produce around 150,000 bοmbs,
at a rate of over 13,600 units per year, to meet the $6.9 billion contract.

For comparison, the U.S. Air Force currently has a total stockpile of 24,000
of these bοmbs, which have been mass-produced since 2005.
This means Boeing would need to produce six times the current stockpile
in just half the time it took to manufacture the existing inventory.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 We all know that will Never Happen !!!

Whoever signed off giving this contract to Boeing was paid by Boeing.

Where is the Boeing Foundry? Anyone? – Nope, cause we don’t have one.
Has anyone seen our Boeing casting facility? Nope, cause we don’t have one.

Has anyone been to the Boeing Energetic materials facility?
Nope, cause we don’t have one of those either!!!

Which one of our melt cast facility’s will be used to fill the bοmbs.
Oh Wait, we don’t have one!!!

Boeing Has No Infrastructure to fulfill the contract, what could go wrong.

Outsource the whole contract to India for the greatest profit possible,
And Lie About It.

The $6.9-billion SCAM -- is a Backdoor Bailout

Boeing does not follow directions well. I just hope we don't blow ourselves up making them.

Boeing can get on board with that contract, something that has a one way ticket and isn't coming back.
