Musk is having people drop in at the home of those calling in sick to verify they are not at the casino or on vacation. Is this the next process improvement fad? I hope not as I use 100% of my sick leave every year to supplement vacation days. In my view I am entitled and mentally sick of work qualifies just fine.

Chevron people have been abusing 'sick leave' for as long as I can remember. Some time ago I remember one admin who was 'sick' virtually every Monday, and her boss let her get away with it.
@udd, you can't BS your way out of the "thought process" that you simply cannot be trusted. There are people who cannot be trusted today as there were pre-1860.

The corporate world is slowly moving towards pre-1860s thought processes....
Can we start with entitled CEOs?
For 5 days in the whole year, it is not worth the effort of enforcing it. So childish if any company wants to pursue that kind of enforcement.
Oh….the “entitlement”. SMH OP…..you need to go start your own company and hire a bunch of entitled employees.
How is this related to Chevron?
Yes, we know. Some claim they are "entitled" to all sorts of things these days that would be in any normal work environment categorized as stealing or fraud. But you do you. No one's judging.
