I've been told that there will be opportunities for title and salary changes, along with increased visibility. 😂
All of this is happening as overseas people are slowly but surely taking over parts of my job.
I've heard similar promises at other companies. They're really striving to keep the few remaining employees, like a jaded ex who refuses to let their partner move on.

So anything they side-step means they are powerless. If they bring up a hypothetical, it means it’ll never happen unless the stars align. If they say they will see at the end of the year, it means they will accept whatever decision someone above them dictates.
Everything else is the truth. Unless they are a sociopath. There are several in the company.

The person I report to tells us different things every other day. She's lost track of her lies.
