Thread regarding Elevance Health (Anthem) layoffs

Brace for Change

I wish they would plainly say that they may have to RIF some positions. Like don’t dance around it, no quick embrace AI/change meetings, and stop the being “efficient” lectures. Inventory is low. I can bet that as soon as other similar company’s start layoffs they will jump on the band wagon. They just don’t want to be the first for the sake of the stock price. What ever company starts the layoff dump gets hit the hardest in stocks first.

The change our money hungry vultures will usher in is toward universal healthcare. Probably not a bad thing listening to some of the id--ts at this company who are little more than modern day hucksters whose only goal is to line their own pockets.

Inventory is not low. It’s all a bunch of BS. They tell so many lies it’s pathetic. All they care about is making more money. CMS needs to crack down on these insurance companies. There need to be more regulations. I have no idea why anyone would sign up for a Medicare Advantage plan anyway. They are not better than traditional Medicare with a supplement period.

Found this article regarding Carelon Global Services building new call centers so they can take US jobs—Carelon’s expansion aligns with the region’s Health Information & Management Services roadmap and supports the company’s goal of achieving over 80 higher-value services performed out of the country as a global capability center.

As soon as other companies start? We have been heavily laying off people for the past two years and while not as heavily it has been going on for a decade.
