Thread regarding ViaSat Inc. layoffs

Is Viasat looking to sell off another division?

https://www.stocktitan.net/news/VSAT/viasat-sets-october-17-2024-for-defense-and-advanced-technologies-dfiuxeymgezw.html

"The teach-in will focus on Viasat's Defense and Advanced Technologies reporting segment, covering technology, products, services, business model, market dynamics, and future growth drivers."

It's kinda strange to do this because you really don't want to advertise this to your competitors unless you are looking to sell it off.

Atlanta, looks like CPI wants their contracts not their organization. They don’t want anything to do with airlines part of it.

And so it goes Viasat pumps itself up in different t areas only to have Starlink shut it up.

  1. ) Look we are going to take the fixed broadband market by storm with Viasat 3. Starlink dominates viasat loses 52% of customer base
  1. ) ummm yeah look we are going to be the premier maritime and aviation provider. Starlink taking share and wiping viasat out.
  1. ) Yeah cool we have a defense. Business. Come watch out power point presentation oct 17. Can only imagine Starlink takes that next.
