I’m overworked and tired. My team is not well organized, and most of us are exhausted. The exhaustion from the workload is compounded by a toxic work environment. There are few of us who rely on each other and that’s how we make it through the day. At one point you start asking yourself if it’s worth it. I don’t think I will stay here for much longer. I’m just hoping for a severance package, and I will be gone.

Sadly I think I know exactly who you are talking about. A bad apple really does spoil the entire team.
My job is stressful BECAUSE of my leader. She is a serial micromanager. She has us wordsmith with her for hours at a time. She has been reported to HR numerous times, and HR has done nothing except maybe give her more power. She is dangerous!
My job has become stressful ever since our manager was fired last year. Our team really felt like a family. No one rarely talks now, everyone is tired from making automatic back to back calls, and on top of that what we are being heavily micromanaged. It really su-ks for our team since we really enjoyed working under our previous manager.
