They don't need to outsource them, just get rid of them. We have redundant management in all areas of this company. If we have any, they should be knowledgeable and have proven success in their area. Not hired because they are slightly more incompetent than the person above them and a yes man.
More useless changes instead of real changes. Seems not a decision can be made to make things better. It’s like it’s being run by the current federal government of canada.
No understanding of how a business is run, backdoor deals, buddy buddy, woke till you’re broke!
I can't believe they would outsource the FLS's. Those people do the escorting of vendors and much more. Meaning they need to be onsite to do it. Can't do this job from India.
Maybe some part of their job will get sourced, or they will put the escorting on someone else.

CNRL has acquired Chevron's oil sands and shale assets in a mega $8.8 billion deal. Unfortunately, Kearl has no takers. Exxon hit the jackpot in Guyana, so little or no interest in Kearl or mining. Canada will be on life support till a suitable buyer is found in a fire sale.
Services is also in the process of being restructured in conjunction with the other changes.

Is that what tbis BIG ANNOUNCEMENT is sapposed to be at kearl? Its been doom and gloom woth zero information..what these people dont see is how many tradesmen are ready to bounce. They will be crippled.
FLSs will be replaced by BTC.
Following the success we are having outsourcing good Canadian jobs.
There will be 50 mpts total including FLS. White collar workers as well. Some will be relocated to Calgary.
