I have a 2nd side job that does not make too much money (less than the state unemployment threshold). Anthem knows about my 2nd gig so there is nothing 'hidden'. My question is that can I still get supplement unemployment benefit if I have 2nd side gig .. i.e. I am technically not unemployed even without the anthem job...

Yes I got severance. I only asked HR about this because I was going to try and do Door Dash as a way to save some additional cash up for when my severance stopped.
So did you not receive any severance? Was there any point in even signing any termination paperwork at that point?
No. Not even something as small as door dash or Uber. Unless it’s under the table and not reported Elevance will consider it a job and terminate your severance. I asked this when I was RIFed and that was the answer from the HR rep.
