Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

High levels of burnout and turnover

Is Cigna doing anything to prevent high levels of burnout among employees and the high turnover rate? Or is this intentional? Overload people, get them to their breaking point, have them leave on their own, and save on severance costs. It certainly sounds like something this leadership would do.

OMG, you're funny! Cigna doesn't give a hoot if you burn out. Setting unrealistic expectations and delivery requirements has been happening for years. Managers also use this as a means to push people out (quit on their own) without having to pay them to be laid off.

Another dollar avoided on severance or fortfeited LTI is more $ in David Cordani’s wallet. Still, sanity and a happy life is priceless.
