I know many are looking to leave, but before applying anywhere, take a look at the competing companies on this website. It seems like many are in the same boat. Just like here, most of their leaders believe they won't lose much from layoffs but stand to gain a lot, especially when it comes to the cost-cutting-related stock price bump. More money for the greedy ones. Choose wisely!

I have never worked for Anthem but this is excellent advice. UHG/Optum are both an absolute horror show. So glad I got out of that place. I would strongly caution you about accepting a job there unless you’re pretty desperate.

Yes. That's in line with the new marketing tagline coming out of our incredibly skilled leadership team. "Elevance. We're just as bad as the other guys." That one tested slightly better than "Elevance. Finding new ways to sc--w providers."
