Got another job. Leaving CDW after I take all my vacation. Not even giving notice. They wouldn’t do me the courtesy so why should I?!?!

Eccles - he GONE
Andy Eccles…haven’t heard the name in quite awhile, is he officially gone from CDW or taking temp leave?
JAT regarding CDW and list or recent changes by Leadership. Yes, the company has been impacted by both "inflation" and "high interest rates" over the past 4 years, negatively impacting sales. The CFO is forecasting low single digit growth for 2024 (maybe). Profit margins for the industry have been declining and SaaS cloud products have forced Account Managers racing to 0% margin just to win renewal deals on office solutions and security products. Local VAR's (Chicagoland area) have been successful for being nimble and having fewer levels of middle management eroding profits. Spending $2.5 Billion for Sirius Computer Solutions was a horrible mistake back in 2021 (just ask Andy Eccles, ha!), neither company adequately prepared for the merger. If you are a co-worker at CDW for any length of time you have witnessed a number of decisions that has resulted in making less money and eroding the culture. The PTO time change requiring employees to use their accrued hours by 3/1/2025 is another cost saving measure CDW won't have to pay out on for future layoffs. My advice is just common sense to sharpen up your resumes, have crucial conversations with individuals within your network and test the waters interviewing other companies (have a plan). The stark fact is if you track the market and listen to reports on CNBC "cloud solutions" everyone knows the usual suspects won't close the gap and put CDW back on track to be profitable. As a side note there are individuals in manager roles for Cloud Hosting/SaaS probably under a lot of stress to win "net new" business and are failing are failing to find. Expect them to be easy targets for layoffs and seeing an overhaul reset that is badly needed.
Congrats! I am hoping to leave soon as well and have an opportunity in front of me which I might pursue.
Congratulations! I don't blame you one bit. They deserve no courtesy after forcing us to use our PTO and lose sick leave. They won't shed a tear on the next round of layoffs either. It's a shame so much talent is leaving or looking elsewhere but who can blame them!?!?
