Im curious, with the next layoff being for sure, how many folks are just camping for severance ?
Looking at the changes in leadership, it seems like its the least useful people jockeying for roles and promotions. The coworkers that I know are good and actually get stuff done all seem to just be sitting and avoiding any mission forward or initiatives (if they are even still here).
Someone said "why would I participate in something where I know my work will just get passed off as someone elses? ". That seems to be the feeling across the board and still 0 actual technical leadership.

People knew this was coming the second they moved to an unlimited PTO mode. That benefits them not having to pay out any additional severance to people they subsequently let go.
Layoffs came overnight. CDW laid off coworkers via a company wide email that was sent out at 5AM this morning.

Layoffs will be coming at CDW. CDW will execute on this decision with the approval of the Board of Directors and will happen quickly. There will be an announcement regarding the recent changes in the industry and need for CDW to re-align to be a part for these changes. Though it won't be mentioned the Sirius Computer Solutions acquisition that cost $2.5 Billion was a complete failure. Embrace the Chaos.
