Thread regarding TIAA (TIAA-CREF) layoffs

Acknowledge Letter

The letter says to employees can move to internal positions before they sign the Accenture offer letter or they can if they don’t sign the offer letter before they are terminated. But the fact is there is no internal position and nobody will give any internal position to move at this point of time. Then why the letter says so ?? Is it from legal point of view that still associates were given chances to move but nobody opted for. It’s is completely misleading and nobody is responding to that.

It’s a legal thing but also, I don’t think anyone knew how long the hiring ice age was going to last. In theory it should have been over by now and we could back fill some needed replacements but that isn’t happening.

There are jobs posted. In India and the US. Not many. But they are there. So the letter is talking about those. It's pretty simple.

My role at my last company got eliminated. The legal text said if I was offered an internal role then my severance was voided. Probably the same bullsh-t at play here.

The longtimers and TIAA bootlickers are finally learning that TIAA doesn’t give a damn about anyone other than TIAA. That letter is designed to protect TIAA and only TIAA from any potential litigation and have a paper trail.
