Does anyone have any thoughts about the truth behind ‘Growing Carelon’? With this being one of strategic initiatives, where does that leave Elevance associates? Not once have I heard how do we grow Elevance.

Carelon on the pharma side will not be able to grow until they get leadership that knows the business. Look at the entire team they are cast offs from other PBMs and/or retreads from Medical. They are a mile behind their strongest competitors.
Grow outsourcing. Grow H1B visa.
Until we are all poor and we need cheaper insurance.
Carelon is a subsidiary of Elevance. Carelon is Elevance.
We’re probably getting ready to change our name again as we do every couple of years. Keep the groups, members, providers confused as to who they are actually dealing with.

The CEO was very clear about moving it to Carelon. She has been beating that drum for years. The current democratic administration is pressing on PBMs and the government business. The writing is on the wall for these companies. They are approaching conflict of interest actions.
Set up for single payer. Big insurers will continue to buy little ones until congress hauls everybody in for monopoly so we'll divest Carelon and continue to play our shell game of passing money back and forth between orgs because the only people who want to deal with us at this point is us.
Well Carle global solutions in India and Philippines are taking most jobs that we have here in the states , like provider services , claims ,UM and soon case management (cringe ) elevance is no longer a us company they are hiring cheaper labor !
