Another Bank VP “Retirement”

Last minute VP retirement on Friday afternoon and an external replacement announced to be in place this coming Monday morning. Must be nice to retire on a whim. And what ever happened to NEO for executives? They need it the most.

Is the replacement one of the consultants that have been advising Wayne?

What was the Joe Robles moment? I wasn't around back then.

This is quickly becoming a titanic unless we have a Joe Robels moment ASAP...

After I gave my 2 weeks notice, I set up a team meeting to tell my team. I then sent an email to my business partners, who I had worked with for almost 25 years, informing them who will be responsible for various deliverables going forward.

My immediate executive crafted a really nice email that our VP was supposed to send. The VP sent an email on my last day stating, “XXXX has left the company”. That was all the email said. It Made me realize I made the right choice to leave. The majority of new executives have poor leadership and people management qualities.

Why would executive need to learn about USAA culture when it no longer exists? The mass exodus continues, but we keep being told its just a coincidence. Whatever.

What is happening with this company? He must have announced it a while ago if they already have a replacement.
