With no layoffs today, does this mean we're safe for a while? Is it time to relax, at least for a little bit? I don't mean to sound naive, but I'm just tired of always thinking about whether I will have a job tomorrow or next week or not. It's not healthy in any way, shape, or form.

It makes sense that it will be in October…I’m guessing those that got rif in may their sub ended the beginning of August and well explanation of why the next group on Aug 8th got rif
Also hearing the next round of spreadsheets for the next RIF are making the rounds. No firm date but October is likely with an end date before end of year…
Next wave is October. Having said that, there are almost always a small amount of people RIFd year round. It could be one or two people, but they happen.
2 weeks. You're safe for two weeks. This is the new norm for the rest of the year and probably q1. Act accordingly.
