I wouldn’t say they were berating Castles. There’s realistically 2 things a random date only post on here could be referring to, a layoff or a sale. I’m not sure why it’s would be difficult to add “sale” or “layoff” when posting random dates to avoid unnecessary panic
Great job, @8loh+1u90EWf8 berating Castles will just make people not want to post any rumors which kind of defeats the purpose of this site, doesn’t it? This is not a therapy site, it is for layoff -rumors-. Just saying, I heard the same date as Castles, something clearly fell through or was delayed.
That's how it was in 19 and 20. People would just disappear. Happened all the time. And not people who would have gotten themselves fired.
Let’s keep it real here, folks still being randomly let go as recently as last week. Everyone is in the dark you go to email somebody and discover they are gone
Castles next time you feel the need to do a post like this, you really need to not be vague. A sale announcement is far better news than a new immediate layoff, being vague just causes panic of the latter

Yes, still work at Crown. But my job has become impossible. So many good people have left voluntarily. It is so depressing coming into the office when morale is so bad. I would leave however there are circumstances beyond my control that make it not an option at this point in time. I am just hanging on and hope to be able to move on next year.
Or maybe the person who posted made a mistake, date moved? Who knows and who cares? Any of us who is reading this board is unhappy, just sayin’. All the venom around here is directed in the wrong direction

There are sad sad people trolling this board listing random dates...relishing in their knowledge that they're raising the anxiety level and paranoia of the people already waiting for the next shoe to drop. The only thing I am sorry about is that they cancelled the severance packages for those not relocating to Houston. If they had let people leave as planned, this Friday would have been MY LAST DAY!!!!!! F&ckers.

People that post on here THINK they know what’s going to happen. Last time I said something similar I got scrutinized by people saying “no, it’s all accurate” blah blah. All because maybe ONE prediction was true.
