Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

And another one

A new Wells Fargo class action lawsuit alleges the bank overcharged tens of thousands of consumers on their mortgage loan accounts and attempted to settle the issue by sending cashier’s checks without explaining the error.

@qwy How would you know, when the class action alleges the “error” was not explained for the customer to determine if the reimbursement covered the damages appropriately? Yet somehow you know? Mmmk.

I received the letter to contact the 1-800# where the person on the phone read the script and didn't slow down to answer ANY questions. Then she escalated and I was contacted a week later by another rep that answered
zero questions. Just sent me a mediation request form to fil out and send back. Some Escalation process huh? They really don't want to pay what's owed or explain any details on the product or how it happened. The "error" was 5 months supposedly and I received a check for 740.00. What mortgage add on is 128.00 a month. Theoretically, how can I even contest this if it was back in 2010?

Check amounts in most cases did not cover damage done by Wells Fargo. That's not fixing the issue just more Wells Fargo trying to avoid doing what's right.

At least they fixed the issue. Better than not disclosing at all.
