@4nbk+1u8ae2Bw For those who are genuinely overwhelmed with work, leaving might be a wise decision. However, for those whose main focus is office politics—whether it's hiring only people from their own country or hometown, bullying colleagues, taking credit for others' work, or misrepresenting others' abilities—the situation is different. These individuals often work fewer than 40 hours a week while enjoying high pay. Staying at Q (wifi) is an ideal situation for them.

The SCL employees should look elsewhere and jump ship. There is no future so I recommend trying out a startup. They provide the focus and excitement where you have a sense of purpose. We are living the same stressed out environment with the constant layoff rounds. It’s a depressing place to work at.

The SCL wifi department has so many high title people, highest pay range in the bay area, and wifi is not the cash cow of Q. Why keep so many high paying people in SCL?
They also keep showing they promote women, but internally, they fail to help female employees who actually reported real issues.

Those that will be laid off will be those who receive a 1or a couple 2s on their review. The notices will be after reviews are given. A couple years ago it was a week before Christmas. It is done ever year.

They are going to force remote employees to get back or cut them if they are not making significant contributions to the team. Back to office has made significant improvements in terms of performance of the company.

What about new mothers? I just had a baby in April and been on leave til about end of june. I still have some leave saved up but they agreed to let me work from home for now til October. Is that going to impact me at all as well? I feel like i've been punished quiet a lot since getting pregnant by getting much less favorable performance reviews.

If you are not badging in on a QIPL office you are at risk.

Is the main target those who are tied to an office and not badging in frequently enough? What about those employees who are officially classified as remote?

Badge scan data combined with big up edge VPN data was mined for presence

Those not present will see bonus reduction and or layoff

The number is far larger than above from multiple sources

No dept spared. AI orgs will be hit too
