Thread regarding Elevance Health (Anthem) layoffs

Resources or support from company if laid off?

Does the company give additional support beyond supplemental pay and COBRA, like outplacement services?

All I got out of Right Management was updating my resume. It worked because I got a better job than I had at Anthem with more pay. I mean the resume must have impressed, right?

The outplacement services were not helpful. They reformatted my resume- and also added some errors. 🤨
My “counselor” was no help at all and provided no useful information.
If you are early in your career, this might be helpful. If you want to switch careers, it might be helpful. For me, it was a waste of time and made me even angrier.

I agree with @1gzn+1u7trpxV

One thing to remember, that 2 months starts when you call Right Management the first time. You might want to get your resume and other things together prior to contacting them.

LMAO. we treat current associates like garbage, we completely crush them after we rif. If they wanted to help you, they wouldn't have rifed you in the first place.

They use a company- Right Management Services. Not sure what the criteria is for qualify for the outplacement services. But it's 2 months of services paid for by ELV if you qualify.
