Time to create a union. Management has an open door policy, HR cares so much for the welfare of the employees, and the executives sincerely want to make things better! So, talks should begin about creating a union for employees that want to join. This was a taboo topic, and folks were threatened to not even talk about such things. for some of us, the threat is no longer there as they already got rid of us. Need to pick a date and time to meet and discuss. It would be interesting to see who shows from HR and above. Various representatives from different press agencies would also be in attendance. I can already picture management formulating plans to avoid any such conversations. After all, they would lose control of the workforce. So, anyone willing to post some thing at USAA about unionizing? I would, but I can’t since my access was terminated. if anyone is about to give their notice, try it. And share the results here.

Just the fear of unionization brings change. Starbucks closed several stores.
Chipotle unionized also. And so has Amazon.
Someone should compare their employee sentient. At the end of the day HR willfully hides info to make it harder to negotiate a better salary. Promos are 10% or less. Ask for a raise and they will string you along. Get to expensive and they layoff without severances. It’s high time people realize corporate America is here to do business and that’s it.
I have no idea of any former union narratives, just a narrative of how great the company is. I could care less if people join a union or not. It should be their choice and not dictated by others. USAA does not want a union. Which is why you should talk about it. USAA does not want to disclose the compensation received by their executives. Which is why you should talk about it. You are in a virtual Union right now. The union leaders are management, directors, and above. Stick with the union you already have. None of you care to do anything about it for fear of losing your jobs. I’m thankful not to there anymore. Go ahead and grow old off the profits of the members knowing that your major executives rich. In retirement, you can reflect on all the wonderful experiences that you’ve had at USAA. it will be a wonderful legacy.
Jason VD, knock it off already. Ask Michael Scott what happens if you form a union.
I was in a union at UPS years ago. The union leaders don't care about the employees either. They have their own agendas. And you are required to pay union dues whether you want to or not and you don't get any return on your investment. Almost all Union leaders are corrupt.
Ahh, so you are back with the Union narrative. Is this the same person who kept trying to push OTHERS to unionize, even stating it would bring back working remote? A Union cannot and will not force a company to allow employees to work remotely if they choose. Did you inform everyone of how much it would cost to join a union, not to mention lower pay overtime due to the dismal of the companies yearly pay raises/bonus? Your pay would be negotiated by the Union and would not be financially beneficial. Did you begin actual working sessions, not small groups on this site or behind a keyboard, to begin actual unionization meetings with union officials so that people understood exactly what would be in store for them? Thought so.....
