Don’t get me wrong, all the Humana incumbents are impressive but I’m starting to wonder if Centene is going through a buy out?

Most would not know until it was maid public. But a friend in IT told me that the big id--t over IT used to work at Humana, and he is getting rid of a lot of people under him, and bringing people that were fired or laid off that worked at Humana with him.
There are a ton of regulatory hurdles that make it hard. Which is always true, but it’s more true in this case.
We wouldn’t have any idea until just before it’s announced. The way these things work is it starts a year or more in advance. Sometimes the companies spend a long time “dating” and never get beyond that stage.
If there was a merger/acquisition everyone would definitely know About it. Now because the company is declining I can see them being bought out. Humana and CIGNA have been trying to buy out Centene for the past few years so I’m not gonna say that it’s not going to happen but it hasn’t happened and it’s not currently in action.
