I’m sarcastic, ofc. Just pointing out that it’s getting worse every time. One thing I learned over the years is not to care how badly Cigna is organized and managed, how much work is left after layoffs, and how much work pops up all the time due to bad management. I’m just doing my corner, and strictly for 40 hours a week. It’s just that there’s been increased pressure lately, and I can just imagine how it will look like after the coming layoffs. My advice - continue as usual, don’t crack under pressure. What can they do to us? Lay us off? LoL.

Thanks for your feedback. You’d be a perfect Cigna middle manager. @2ool+1u6UcTFJ
Wow, these posts are a playground of “bad attitudes” and self aggrandizement..
Going above and beyond will many times put a target on your back if you’re not part of the people your manager wants to get more. So be careful about doing extra or asking for extra because it could make you the first one to be abused or put on performance to put you in ur place. After they did that to me it worked, and I don’t give AF anymore. Most messed up about is leadership will be the first person to tell you, you have a bad attitude. Cigna loved managers well at least in IFP that have a frame of mind, everything I do wrong in your fault and should be punished for, even if it’s illegal and unethical u are wrong and have a fab attitude. I don’t know how anyone would want to go above and beyond unless they are one of the people who is deems worth more because they will go along with the messed up abusive behavior that is at time illegal. Also, middle managements favorite thing to say is, well if you don’t tell me I don’t know. I won’t tell you because you literally love to gaslight and through any feedback I give in my face. I’m dealing with people who have the emotional intelligence of a 12 year old, because that is what gets the silver spoon. Yas I’m bitter, because I’m normal, and normal people do not like the people who have abused them.
Absolutely - agreed! Do not let Cigna bully us into working more hours for the same pay! Also, don't forget to take your PTO, your lunch breaks (not at your desk!), and other regular short breaks as well.
Cigna's fires are Cigna's problems. If they take longer than 40 hours to put out - let them burn! They're pinching pennies on salaries while making record profits! It's their fault if it all goes to he-l in a hand basket - not yours!
💯 Cigna doesn’t care about us, so why should we care about Cigna or doing anything but the basics? Going above and beyond and taking in extra work just enables them to make more layoffs and bad decisions. If they force you to take on more work, email and put in Writing that scope goes beyond one persons workload and ask if you will get a raise or promotion for taking up the slack. Otherwise let things get behind. It’s Cigna’s problem not yours. Stay strong!
