Will someone help me understand why/how my ED is in a 5-hour seminar about finance for members — not member facing because she works in HR. Meanwhile, she doesn’t care that we have more ER cases than we can manage. Disgusting.

Just hurry up and retire already! Life’s too short to be bitter and miserable like you are. What do you want her to do? Take cases? They’re managers for a reason and if you don’t understand how that works, that’s on you.

Coming from curious, maybe the training is required for all people leaders to attend? I thought all USAA employees had a fiduciary responsibility to understand how the company makes money, to better serve the members and organization?! Don’t be such a pessimist.
