Thread regarding USAA layoffs

It truly doesn't matter who it is

I don't think the new CEO will do anything to help any single one of us. Those who think this will bring change for the better are naive at best. These are corporate games and we're nothing but meaningless peons to them. So in essence, it doesn't matter who it is. Things will remain as sh---y for us as they always were.

The new CEO will be more of the same.

This is the obvious inference from Wayne's announced timeline. If the Board actually wanted to change significantly from the direction the company took under Wayne they wouldn't keep him around for 6 months to help ensure a "smooth" transition.

Completely disagree more:
We need to aspire and be a world class company that represents its members and thus the military..

It couldn’t matter more who has the honour of leading USAA and helping our members get the service they deserve.

Time to move forward and embrace the opportunity to change into a company that can be the best and be a great place to work..

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. The board, CEO and Execs are running a business, pure and simple. You might get a little icing on the cake sometimes, but there is an agenda they will follow. You need to find a new job or stop complaining before you are fired. The RTO topic should be left out of your vocabulary for now. If you get fired, you get nothing but mounting debt with no way to pay for it. I have worked in the mortgage/banking industry for a very long time and now is not the time to make waves.
