Customer interaction Roles are reduced as delivery needs are hugely lowered with automated processes. Put details as you hear cuts, sometimes the whole teams. Many leadership roles are eliminated. There is absolutely no reasons to have multiple Director layers.

The perception in the company exec ranks is that MM built a bloated CX and now it needs trimming. Anything else is cope.
To the person who posted this was bs and cx wasn’t cutting any jobs. Come back in September and let us know how that delusion take worked out.
@wyf+1u6Gv0hm sounds like you're mad about being LR'ed a few years ago. Move on.
Some of large teams like AT&T and Verizon have not brought new services business and still churning large CX budget on delivering useless projects while AT&T and VZ cutting projects and people. CX has layers of management that would easily be cut by 90% to make them relevant.
It’s about time CX director, delivery, CSE and senior directors go out the door and dust off their resume to down the earth technical positions.
CSEs will be impacted in Service Provider for sure. Pulling back hard as performance has not achieved what was hoped for with investment. They can party with Dario.
BS topic BS post - we aren't cutting any jobs in CX
CX is hiring like normal in other countries, especially Mexico. US CX hiring is incredibly scarce. They only fill new positions. They don't create new positions.
A SE from Apple attended a customer meeting with me last month. We had chat afterwards. At Apple there are only four layers between anyone at the company and Tim Cook. So TC is only ever someone’s manager’s, manager’s manager. At Cisco there can be 11 or 12 levels. It is absurd the amount of management we have at Cisco and that is a major part of the problem we have here. Stuff is lost in Chinese whispers.
Will be difficult to cut Delivery Leader roles when there are ongoing projects/commitments that need to be delivered. Unless Cisco has resigned itself to having 30 to 40 SOC for Leaders
Doing a annual review for your team will take 6 months 😂
CPM role are made redundant I hear.
