Collins Aerospace Melbourne Fl

Work has been drastically decreasing for a couple weeks, many areas are doing busy work or going home early because they have nothing to do, something is up

Ask “Boeing”? Tomorrow 9/12/24 Boeing’s Union contract in Washington state is up and the workers are not happy! From what I am reading on social media there will be a strike tomorrow. No production no work for Collins?🤷‍♀️

A reliable source told me today they are laying off all the contractors through Aerotek. Don’t know exactly when.

Keep asking boss why it is so slow, they usually shrug and keep us out of the loop, today he actually said "Ask Boeing", the production stoppage at Boeing has to have ki-led our product line, no orders no work :-(

I’ve work there to for 13 yrs. I haven’t seen it so slow. I know there’s been a “quality” issue especially in the processor center. Our products are moving to Mexicali you know. We’re getting “new” stuff, ok when? Doesn’t look like it to me.
