Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Wayne Peacock's Legacy

Put the money aside for a moment.

Can you imagine dedicating your life's work to become the worst CEO in the history of a company that's existed for over 100 years?

What an incredible achievement.

Hmm...
"very one-sided about his beliefs, leaving no room to tolerate others personal beliefs that may differ from his own."

Sounds a lot like the radical bolsheviks in today's C-suite and HR pushing their far left wing ESG brainwashing every chance they get.

Wayne is absolutely an awful leader. But in case you are drinking the Kool-aid, Syring is awful too. Smart guy, but not about financial services or anything business related. The worst part was that he would pretend to know stuff that he didn’t understand. He is also very one-sided about his beliefs, leaving no room to tolerate others personal beliefs that may differ from his own.

Here's a narcissistic psychopath and I will tell you that his salary was much higher than what was disclosed. They are only obligated to disclose his P&C earnings because several states require it by law.

If you think the trajectory of this company is going to change after the pheasant is gone, you are sadly mistaken. This agenda is embedded in the core of the company. The only way it will change is a hostile takeover by the membership.

I still think Davis was the worst with Wayne being a close second.

Id--ts on the BoD really munsoned that one. We all knew how it would end. They chose Wayne, and lost Syring and a real USAA culture. Wayne doesn't care. He got paid. He has no friends from work. I wonder if he does outside of USAA. Probably not - they know a loser when they see one.
