I see ThousandEyes End User Monitoring app was installed on the PC today for the first time. Is that an indication?

Ok OP let me tell you what that app does it monitors all apps , software that runs on your computer, the hours of youtube, netflix , browsing all the illegal sites you have accessed and puts it into a database. It then sends a report on weekly basis to your manager for monitoring purpose and if you have watched po-n he/she will escalate it to higher levels and then a list is made to fire you when layoffs happen like now.
Hahaha check install history, it just got updated, happens frequently. Duh
It's an early indication, yes.
ThousandEyes isn’t meant for data loss prevention, that’s what code42 is for.
I too saw the ThousandEyes agent installed a week ago when I rebooted
Cisco works with NSA and so many intelligent agencies all over the world. They can check every download and connection on your laptop.
If you download too many documents internally, your manager get a notification.
They thrown in software that can monitor on different software, thousand eyes or some other thing in background!.
If you don't know, this is the latest product from Cisco, look at the official announcement link as follows.

That's for measuring user experience with websites and services like email. Has nothing to do with spying
It is to monitor who is accessing your computer. Also to check if you are downloading any company documents or code. Monitor USB ports and other connections.
Looks like they are getting ready to start distributing pink slips.
You can raise a ticket in the helpzone ask IT why.
I noticed it in mine a few weeks ago but it was installed on my system in August I think. I polled others and they had the same so I think it’s just standard corporate security.
I’ve had it in mine for a couple of weeks iirc.
And if you’re using your work pc for anything ibut work you deserve whatever happens anyway.
It was installed on my work laptop on 8/14/2024. I doubt it's an indication of whether you are being laid off or not. I would suspect Cisco IT is automatically installing it on all corporate systems.
