Yes @dhx+1u1J3bM6 same here. The volunteer severance packages in 2020 (and the one in 2015) were far better than this one is.

Better than nothing but still at least 2020 and 2015 were better job markets than right now. Some people have been out of work for almost 2 years. I definitely don’t have my “paper right” so I’m probably going to have to sell my house and find a cheap place to rent somewhere just to make ends meet.

Good old fashion forced attrition.

No, they said they're not paying for spouses' trips to visit Frisco to check it out.

I thought they answered questions being asked, so what else did you expect?

Tiaa is buying empower then taking over the tech center office. Then Tiaa plans on buying transamerica. Then potentially vanguard and then fidelity. On one source of income from Tiaa traditional .

They actually don’t know that. Ask any hiring manager how getting people in Frisco is going.

The whole idea of relocation is a scam. Don’t fall for it. They picked Frisco because they know they can fill the roles there. They don’t care if it’s you, and they would rather it not be you because they can pay the new person a lower salary.

When I saw this pop-up on my calendar last week, I was wondering why they had it planned already. We knew last week there wouldn't be more info for awhile. Glad I didn't jump on.

Thanks for wasting a whole hour of my day with literally no news. Also way to show your lack of SharePoint skills with not updating DEN to match JAX page but telling us to browse the Jax page for info.

I can only imagine how bad this place will be when long tenured JAX and DEN/BFD folks are gone (thinking maybe 5-10% actually will relocate) the rest either severance or eliminated / leave by other means.

Why hold a call if half the answers are "we don't know quite yet, more to come, we're doing everything we can with the business areas"? This was pure optics, with little value add by way of information; ultimately just alot of open questions still unanswered. Another checking of the box, while everyone scrambles behind the curtain to figure out how the eff any of this is actually going to work..

Did I just hear the firm is not going to pay for spouses or families to move because it’s “a business expense”?!
