i was RIF'd this year. honestly, i didn't mind anthem. but i was on a decent team w/ decent people. the leaders of my division are just doing what they are told so i can't hold anything against them personally. overall, my coworkers were ok. it started to get cr-ppy towards the end of my term because they were overworked and sick of things piling on and nothing with tech getting fixed. i believe some are in really bad divisions/managers and that's with any company. i worked at a place for 10 years and i loved what i did but have ZERO good things to say about any body with a title from manager to ceo. that place was ridiculously toxic. so there are worse places to work. not ignoring what people are saying. but depending on your scenario, it could be worse. now gail? she's evil incarnate.

So true about not feeling optimistic or even valuing anything they are saying. It all sounded so like begging and just not genuine. I hate it here. I think for the ones that were RIF’d are the lucky ones. I hope they all find employment at an organization where they want to be at and get rewarded for it. WellPoint/Anthem used to be a great company to work for but now just do what you can, give zero effort until your # is up.
Good luck every one!
