Thread regarding Elevance Health (Anthem) layoffs

“We need to work together”

This phrase will give me a stroke one day. How dare they? As if we have any stake in this horrible company? As if anybody is asking for our opinion? As if we are equal partners in the cash-extraction machine that treats employees like office supplies? Working together towards what? Towards any of us being unceremoniously booted at any moment? They can sc--w themselves with cheap, disrespectful, manipulative, false and utterly empty corporate speak.

EH is like the Wells Fargo of Healthcare. I wouldn’t be surprised if multiple class action lawsuits are brought against this company. I always felt that the name change was a way of distancing the company from bad publicity Executive Leadership knows is eventually coming.
