TIAA layoff

Does anyone know when they are going to announce the closing of the Denver office? This Aug or September?

Guessing they will probably communicate somewhere between mid August to mid September. Doubt they will keep the lease past 12/31 and are probably able to get out of it earlier than expected due to owner defaulting on the building in late 2023.

Hopefully they say something soon because folks are struggling with not knowing and spreading rumors.

The longer they wait, the worse it’ll get for morale in Denver and that will spread teammates in other cities as well.

End of an era to say the least. If it can happen in Denver it can happen anywhere, except maybe Charlotte - jury still out on Frisco.

Not sure about Denver. But I am sure cross all location they will start laying off more people. Where it will be down to one person per team doing the work for 10. That all the Ecs will give them self a pay raise for all the cost cutting they did. Then not have to show any results for anything. But all the worker bees have to show results for the small thing they did. Have a full on thesis why that change was amazing the what came from it and how it help Better the business and fit in with one of the five pillars that no one can remember because they are so d-mb.
