As an employee for about 5 years, I have seen a rapid decline in the environment and team spirit at USAA. I have held several roles here, and can say that my recent positions in P&C and ECIO are in toxic groups where you are fed to the wolves, are given very little if any training to do your job, and you have co-workers that will happily throw you under the bus in the blink of an eye instead of offering to help. And the leaders of those teams certainly have their favorites as well. Maybe just two bad experiences, but with the erosion of benefits and constant looming fear of layoffs, I'm seeing little reason to stick around here (and working on an exit plan). Is it really worth coming into an office 4 days a week for this anymore? Anyone else with similar experiences?

Just one thing…it’s a F show of how the current ECIO is setting up the culture. You cannot compromise on basic disrespect, but somehow on the name of whatever fits the situation, she keeps disrespecting the team and people.
ECIO has been a disaster for years. Leaders hiring friends and favorites while dedication and loyaltiy is welcomed with partially meets expectations and a PIP. SVP's look the other way and could all care less why attirition is so bad while VP's and Directors chew good employees up and kick them to the curb.
4 days a week lol
No, it is not worth coming into an office 4 days a week. Your instincts are correct. Good luck in the job market!
Ditto. Looking outside for opportunities.
You don’t need validation from miserable, disengaged employees to decide you need a better work environment. Trust yourself and move on.
