Because we are having meetings about low scoring individuals and teams. Do you really want to be the one who stands out. Average is fine, but eventually if you and your team is rating below the line you will be removed.
"Give good reviews and scores on the surveys" - why? If you don't care and know this kind of survey won't change anything, mark everything as average. Simple. Only naive people who don't understand Taylorism believe that voices from the bottom have any impact.
Give good reviews and scores on the surveys, they are less anonymous than you think.
And muzzle yourself about quality of the product you are working on. I got in trouble many times for pointing out the failure rates of the many test systems I worked with. They don't want to hear about it
Someone of value to a team was let go today for summat discovered or said or done over a chat channel. Be careful what ya say - when at work wear that KoolAid drinking mask and keep it on.
