Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

Preparation for this weeks announcements.

Word on the street is that there will be a riff on 7/18. Which is why I'm taking the time out of my morning to alert all of you of the tools you might need to keep your jobs this upcoming Thursday.

Lowes has the following equipment for sale that might prove helpful to make it through your day on the 18th.

Kneepads available at lowes that can be picked up today.
Kobalt Ultra Light Knee Pads @4.98, as the name says these are ultra light and will probably be the harbor freight quality pads, probably will not make it through multiple months of meetings where you have to out compete your coworkers in these meetings.

Kobalt Tactical Knee Pads @15.98, these are for the larpers who want to appear to know what they are doing. I don't expect that these would be too helpfull, any manager who is seasoned in laying off people will recognize that the wearer of these was reactionary just like how we troubleshoot our network.

Klein Tools Heavy Duty Hinged Hard Shell Knee Pads @49.96, these are for the seasoned employee who knows how to avoid a reduction in force. If you go into a meeting and see someone in these, you better believe they are going to out survive you.

I'll leave you all with this famous quote from Abraham Lincoln which goes, "I will prepare and some day my chance will come."

The fact that you don't know the difference between a riff and a RIF means you probably deserve it when it comes.

Just have to look at who gets promoted and who gets let go to know why the company is floundering. People with college degrees in engineering are supervised by managers with a GED. When you cannot move forward because they want the lesser educated to command then why bother trying?

With poor leadership and this level of maturity from employees, no wonder this company is struggling.
