Yes, I have someone who requested they be on the next list. Brought it to leadership and HR. The person should get severance and backs right into their retirement plans. It's the right thing to do after then giving 20+ years to this company.
In fact I did, just waiting for the glorious day it happens.
You can let your mgr and HR know.
I mentioned, late last year that this wasn’t the company I came to work for. I didn’t think it was for me any longer. That’s the only thing my manager ever listened to me about. I was laid off several months later. I was over the mess that it had become. Try mentioning to you manager that you’d like to volunteer if they have to make further adjustments. Good Luck!
