Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

The standard Town Hall playbook

Your all doing great without you we couldn't run. All the VPs are flying round the world pressing flesh, its great, more continents remain to holiday to. Customers don't know what we sell, the org is to top heavy, your all doing well but the company isn't manipulates money in the quarter your pay is determined, so we will delay, all is fine for our pay quarter and for us at the top. Any questions?, we will dismiss any pay questions. Keep up the good work folks bye.

Rinse and repeat.

D: @uqx+1twHXjLn. wake up it’s not HR’s fault you are not getting pay increases. They do what they are told to do.

Blame the top, Blame the CEO , the board !

All the time even the biggest upvoted posts on here score 15 upvotes you won't see much concern...

Encourage your colleagues to read this place (you can't do it from your DXC devices, its blocked) and upvote even if you don't comment...

Lets use this platform to truly highlight the mess... because its the only place where outsiders (aka investors) can see the honest truth and not management rosy pictures...

What is this company actually doing!? It talks the talk, but I see no action. We're all just wasting the days away, attending status meetings. Filling in stupid forms that anywhere else would have been automated.

Fix the pay issue and let's move on. Introduce grades, take the hit before everyone with any knowledge leaves or just refuses to divulge it to people on £10k more - they should be mind readers or already know it for that much extra.

The people left don't care and are on a go slow and work to rule. Even the ones on higher salaries. We're on strike unofficially, but they still cannot see it.

How can people who havent had rises for 10+ years be on Market rates? I dont know which market or planet HR are following. Inflation has been in double digits, they are paying new starters much more.

When will the reviews be concluded, its been months now you can keep saying q2 q3.

Is this how you run contracts?

Total ballshit, leading the troops on, you should COMMIT to a date when the appraisals closed in March and delivered.

If you cant do that we need a new capable HR lead who can do more than 2 emails a year.
